The Gulf of Morbihan is just 20 km long and 15 km wide and is not very deep except in certain places near Port Navalo where it reaches 35 metres, due to the current.

The Gulf boasts over 40 islands and is the perfect spot for fishermen and oyster farmers.  In the summer, the numerous pleasure boats sail alongside the excursions boats.
